After over 20 years of SERVING our girls and women; I have been fortunate to create a curriculum to address some of the most pressing issues facing our girls and young women. My book; “101 Things Every Girl/Young Woman of Color Should Know, takes an anecdotal, experiential route to sharing strategies for girls to achieve success! Four approaches are shared in the book covering ; MIND, BODY, SPIRIT and OTHER THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW (Life Skills) with short stories, and reality checks; providing a launching pad for robust and thought provoking discussion. Taking the book a step further; I created the curricula; 101 Things Every Girl/Young Woman of Color Should Know: The Power of Knowing“. a comprehensive, interactive, hands on approach to working with our girls and young women.
